Ayesha AlShared
Ayesha Alshared is an Emirati English Literature graduate with a a minor in Philosophy. She enjoys reading poetry, both Arabic and English, and her interests include cultural studies and philosophies. She hopes to go to grad school and pursue an interdisciplinary education in philosophy and literature. Her spare time activities involve practicing yoga and imbibing copious amounts of Arabic coffee whilst reading books she didn’t get around to over the course of the semester. She is also a mother of a 3 year old cat whom she loves to death.
Nahla Elsubeihi
Nahla Elsubeihi is a Libyan English Language graduate. She aims to amplify her knowledge and expand her career options by pursuing a higher degree in Linguistics. She is specifically interested in sociolinguistics and discourse analysis. Nahla is committed to pursue a career in the world of academia and pedagogy. She is a voracious reader, an intersectional feminist, and her favorite movie catchphrase is “Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.”
